Jed Milroy

Jed became an outdoor guide, because he wanted to share his love for swift water and steep rocks. His interest in ideas and meaning led him to study philosophy at the University of Edinburgh. He also followed courses on outdoor and environmental education. His approach to adventure education now combines the analytics of philosophy with social anthropology. Jed believes there is an urgent need for a new strategy concerning the way we live and think on almost every level.
As an accomplished musician, Jed has been part of international rock act 'The Aliens' amongst many other musical projects including 'Emotional Literacy' work in primary schools, and the infamous Glastonbury Music Festival.

Korbi Hort
Since 1996 Korbi has been working internationally in the field of Outdoor Education and Adventure Tourism across a wide range of projects, from social youth work to large company incentives. His main interest is the theory and practice of ecological awareness development through the transformational power of nature and adventure experiences. Korbi graduated at the University of Edinburgh in Outdoor Education with Environmental Studies and is currently visiting the MSc in Sustainability and Resopnsibility at Ashridge College. He is founder of EasyDay and co-founder of ActiveEarth Ltd.
Paddy Cave

As Head Guide at EasyDay, Paddy brings many inspirational qualities to the team. His unrivalled enthusiasm for the outdoors is combined with a vibrant personality and a deep understanding of technical and psychological aspects of our work. Paddy holds a degree in Outdoor Studies from the University of Cumbria, England. He is currently working towards gaining the top British Mountaineering qualification. As a gifted athlete, Paddy is also pushing the limits in free-ride mountain biking and white-water kayaking.

Thilo Kunzemann

Thilo has worked as a freelance journalist in Africa and Europe and is currently Editor-in-Chief of the Allianz Corporate Social Responsibility website. He has been climbing and skiing for twenty years and is motivated by the desire to preserve the nature and mountains he loves so dearly. His interest in Outdoor Eco-Education is fueled by the desire to teach and learn from others and the belief that you cannot love what you do not know. Thilo has studied journalism, political sciences, and philosophy at the University of Munich and the Institute of Political Studies in Grenoble.

Tom Hodgekin

Tom has been facilitating adventure eco-education programs internationally for many years. His motivation stems from a passion for the outdoors, especially white-water kayaking, with varied academic interests in the natural sciences and responsible business innovation. He has studied biological sciences at the University of Edinburgh, specialising in Developmental Biology. He is currently studying for an MSc in Responsibility and Business Practice at the University of Bath Management School. Tom’s work is driven by his passion to raise awareness for a fair and sustainable future.
